Slinky’s Place is back in a stripped down form. This is mainly for access to the Game Portal game server which I host, and the Yankee Trader Game Server which is available via Game Portal. All the networked message areas were removed, except for DOVE-Net. No one used them, so why keep 6 networks of unread messages. Files and USENET newsgroups were retained. All door games are via Game Portal only now, none are locally hosted. This has worked out well, as there is a lot of traffic on Game Portal for the popular games.
